UL Solutions, a global leader in safety testing and certification, recently bestowed the esteemed WTDP (Witnessed Test Data Program) laboratory qualification upon the Laboratory Assessment Center of BMC Medical Co., Ltd.’s R&D Center. The award ceremony saw the presence of Zhou Mingzhao, Deputy General Manager of BMC (overseeing Group R&D Center/Group Procurement Center), He Wei, General Manager of BMC (Tianjin) Medical Co., Ltd. Liu Jingying, the General Manager of UL Solutions’ Consumer Electronics and Medical Division for Mainland China and Hong Kong, and Ma Yong, the Senior Sales Manager in China, among others.
This recognition marks a significant milestone in BMC Medical Co., Ltd.'s unwavering commitment to safety and quality.
“With the WTDP laboratory qualification, we can conduct product testing in our own laboratory under the supervision of UL Solutions engineers. This approach not only guarantees the independence and impartiality of the test data but also reduces the operational and time costs of product registration,” stated Deputy General Manager Zhou Mingzhao.

Following the “CTF Laboratory” and “QTL Laboratory” qualifications awarded by the Standard Technology Service Co., Ltd. in 2023, BMC has once again received international recognition for its laboratory quality system, testing equipment, testing environment, and laboratory personnel capabilities.
The experts suggest that test data certified by WTDP will gain wider acceptance from regulators and markets globally. As per the Sullivan report, BMC Medical Co., Ltd. is projected to secure the second rank globally with a 17.7% share of the worldwide CPAP market sales volume in 2022. This qualification is anticipated to further boost BMC’s global brand image and market competitiveness, enabling it to secure a more prominent position in the global medical technology field.
